My wife and I recently used this company to support our climb to EBC. For 12 years, the climb to EBC was my wifes dream to achieve. We had the pleasure of having Bibek and Mangla aid us during this journey. We have climbed many mountains around the world, Bibek and Mangla are without doubt, the best team we’ve had the pleasure of helping us. I strongly recommend them if you are going to take in this adventure. You will not be disappointed. Jeff & Karen the “DO EPIC SH*T” couple.
Full disclosure upfront, I haven’t trekked with Bibek from Hikers Himalaya. BUT I worked with Bibek for seven years through a Nepali trekking agency that I organised treks for, so feel I’m well qualified to write this review.
I can honestly say he’s on par with the best guide you’ll find in Nepal. Feedback from clients who trekked with Bibek was consistently as good as it gets. In fact other trekkers asked our clients which company he worked for because they saw how good he was!
I always felt completely reassured when allocating Bibek to guide clients. He’s very experienced and knowledgeable, plus he’s one of the nicest people you could hope to meet – the perfect recipe for a guide you’ll want to spend several days with (and believe me when I say, your guide can make or break your trip).
Bibek will go out of his way to create the perfect trip based on your requirements and will adapt to fit your needs on the go – another important quality!
Honestly, I can’t recommend him highly enough.
