Day 1

Arrival in Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal (1350m)

Welcome to Nepal, the land of mountains for this epic trekking adventure to the base camp of the world’s 10th tallest mountain Mt. Annapurna. We will pick you up at the airport and transfer you to the hotel in Kathmandu as agreed. All the trip details will be discussed over a welcome dinner organized by the company representative. You will also be assisted to do last minute shopping in Thamel if you need. The trekking guide for the trip will be introduced and you can finalize the trip itineraries. Overnight in a hotel
Day 2

Trip from Kathmandu To Pokhara by tourist bus (820m) 7/8 hours.

Early in the morning, we will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to the tourist bus park. Today’s journey is on the Prithivi Highway enjoying the scenery of rivers, terraced farmlands, and highway towns. We will have breakfast and lunch on the way to Pokhara. Upon reaching Pokhara, you can have free time to explore the clamor of the lakeside Pokhara. Overnight in a hotel
Day 3

Drive to Phedi & Trek To Tolka (1800 m)

Today is the first day of the trek but before reaching the trail head, we will have to take a drive in a private vehicle for about an hour to reach Phedi. Our trekking crew members will arrange the baggage and we continue our trekking trip towards the village of Tolka. The first phase is steep uphill and then we continue to walk on a gentle Nepalese flat after reaching Dhampus Village. We will have lunch in Pitam Deurali and then head downhill through the green lush forests. After walking for about an hour inside the jungle, we will have to walk through the terraced farmlands again on a Nepalese gentle flat towards the village of Tolka. Overnight in a tea house
Day 4

Trek To Chhomrong (2200 m) from Tolka

We will begin our trek after breakfast. Today’s trek is joyous even if it is the second day of our trekking. We will be walking on a Nepalese gentle flat trail to the Landruk Village. This is also one of the model home stay villages of Nepal which is located in the opposite hill of the famous Ghandruk village. Our trail then takes a steep downhill all the way to river and continues on a gentle uphill slope all the way to Jhinu. We will have lunch whether in Syauli or in New Bridge. After reaching Jhinu, we will walk on the steep uphill trail for about 2 hours to reach the village of Chhomrong. Overnight in a tea house
Day 5

Trek To Dovan (2600 m) from Chhomrong

We will wake up early in the morning for the majestic morning scenery of mountains like Annapurna South, Machhapuchhre, and Himchuli from this place. After breakfast, we will start our trek in the downhill trail all the way to the river. From the river banks, trek takes uphill turn for about 2 hours continuously until we reach Upper Sinuwa village. The trail then is mixed with few uphill, Nepalese gentle flat, and downhill sections through the green lush forests. Our lunch will be in Bamboo village. After the lunch, we will walk for about 2 hours through dense forests alongside the deep gorge to reach Dovan. The place is tranquil and it is surrounded by hills and we can get the small glimpse of Machhapuchhre. Enjoy the most tranquil place among the several overnight stops during the Annapurna Base Camp Trek in Nepal. Overnight in a tea houseThe trail also crosses a pathway through a dense rhododendron forest which leads to Khuldighar at its end. With a bit of luck, you'll also get to see monkeys, shrieking and leaping from branch to branch. After a short walk through the trees and a short level slope, you will arrive at Bamboo crossing Khuldighar.You'll walk through a damp bamboo grove and then descend sharply to the bottom of the gorge called Dovan. This trekking day will take you around five to seven hours to walk the approximate 5.3 miles from start to end destination which is Dovan situated at an elevation of 2600 meters.The small settlement of Dovan is a breathtaking stop along the extensive path leading to Annapurna Base Camp. Acute mountain sickness can occur at 2,500 meters so you may want to put on your warm clothes on along the journey. At the end of the day, You will be spending your night at the lodge in Dovan village.
Day 6

Trek to Deurali (3200 m) from Dovan

Early in the morning, we will begin our trekking after breakfast. The trail is steep uphill and you have to maintain the pace of your trekking. It can be tiring today as we enter the 3000 m altitude. After walking for about 2 to 3 hours, we will reach the village of Himalaya where we will stop for lunch. The trek continues uphill to the village of Deurali. It is the last village before the Annapurna Base Camp. Therefore, we will feel anxious to spend overnight as we will reach the base camp the next day. Make sure that you are relaying your condition to your trekking guide. Overnight in a tea houseYou will also be observing temples of Ancient Nepal reflecting the rich culture of Buddhist religion mainly followed by Gurung and Magar communities residing in the area due to which loud noises are prohibited in this area.The route also has several beautiful and majestic waterfalls along with woodlands you may have never seen before. Once you cross the Himalayas, you may see glacial rivers and clearings on the way up to Hinku Cave.After your short descent to the glacial rivers, you will rise once again through a steep uphill to finally reach Deurali which is a small village with a population of around 2500 people of unique ethnicities.You will be warmly welcomed with a proper ritual ceremony by the local Gurung residents. You will be having your dinner and night sleep with an extraordinary night view of Machhapuchhre at the guest house in Deurali village.
Day 7

Trek to Annapurna Base Camp (4130 m)

Finally, the most awaited day of the trek is today. We will walk uphill straightway until we reach the banks of river with full of big boulders. The narrow valley yet the place to witness majestic scenery of Annapurna Himalayan range can make today’s trek enticing. We will walk through the rugged trail until we reach the Machhapuchhre Base Camp. Lunch will be served in the Machhapuchhre Base Camp before trekking uphill to the Annapurna Base Camp. The first section until we reach the top of the ridge is rugged and uphill. The sight of Mt. Machhapuchhre, Machhapuchhre Base Camp and lower valleys looks spectacular from the ridge top. The trail becomes gentle uphill slope where we will be walking enjoying the breathtaking scenery of mountains starting from Himchuli to Machhapuchhre including the Annapurna series mountains. Passing by the small pond, we finally stop at the Annapurna Base Camp signboard to commemorate the achievement of reaching the base camp of the world’s 10th tallest mountain Mt. Annapurna. After clicking some pictures, we will head towards our tea house and rest for a while. In the evening, we will walk the hill beside the base camp for about half an hour before returning back to the Annapurna Base Camp. It is to make sure that our body is fully adjusted to the demands of the higher elevation. As night falls, we will again come out and enjoy the night scenery of the stars dazzling above the snowy mountain range of the Annapurna Himalayas. Overnight in a tea house

Trek To Bamboo (2300 m) from Annapurna Base Camp

Before sunrise, we will head to the nearby cliff next to the Annapurna Base Camp. The majestic sunrise experience can’t be described in mere words. The sight of the mountains before sunrise and after sunrise can really change our perspective of life. The scenery we behold from the base camp is surely an astounding one and all the pain endured while coming to this place worth millions. We will capture as many pictures as possible including the memories of being in the place. Finally, we will head back to our tea house for breakfast. After the breakfast, we will retrace the same trail back to Bamboo. Note down that today is the longest day of the trek and we will have to trek downhill for most of the time. We will have lunch in Deurali Village or Himalaya. Make sure that you are taking care of your hamstring and knees. Trekking downhill may sound easy but it can be risky in terms of knee injuries. Most of the trekking guides and trekkers say that the return trek is the most scenic. Relish the scenery of mountains, hills, and green lush forests on the way back from the Annapurna Base Camp. Overnight in a tea houseYou will wake up early in the morning so you may take in the breathtaking vistas of the Annapurna Sanctuary. After the vistas, you're ready to gather your possessions and return to the Bamboo village traveling through Machhapuchhre Base Camp and Himalaya. You will have to arrive at the Bamboo hut soon as there are only a few lodges available in the village.
Day 9

Trek to Jhinu (1760 m) from Bamboo

We will continue to retrace the same trail back to Jhinu. Upon reaching the Jhinu village after walking for about 4 to 5 hours, we will check in our tea house and get ready to go Jhinu Hot Springs. We will walk downhill for about 15 to 20 minutes to reach the hot springs site. After spending about an hour in the natural hot springs giving the much-needed relaxation to our tired muscles, we will return back to our tea house. It takes about half an hour to return back to tea house as it is uphill trek. In the evening, we will enjoy with our trekking crew members as it is the last night in the trekking trail. We will enjoy the local delicacies and dance in the folk songs with our trekking crew members. It is really a jovial night to celebrate our successful trip to the Annapurna Base Camp. Overnight in a tea houseThe warm water at the hot spring has the ability to take away your pain and tiredness from your body due to the long journey. The chance to spend the night at a teahouse in Jhinu Danda is one of the nicest parts of the trek.
Day 10

Trek from Jhinu to Nayapul/Drive to Pokhara (820 m)

We will begin to walk after breakfast. After walking for about 15 minutes, we will reach the New Suspension Bridge and upon crossing it we will meet our jeep waiting for us. We will hop on the jeep and head back to Pokhara which takes about 3 hours. Upon reaching Pokhara, you can get free time to explore this magnificent city. We recommend you to go Pumdikot for the sunset experiences and get the majestic scenery of an entire Pokhara Valley. In the evening, you can enjoy the lakeside vibes by spending time on the shores of the Phewa Lake. Overnight in a hotelYou can enjoy a late-night walk at the lakeside and enjoy lakeside bars for delicious foods and refreshing drinks. The Disneyland of Pokhara also attracts tourists with its fun rides and indoor activities.
Day 11

Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu (1350 m)

We will retrace the same Prithivi Highway back to Kathmandu. The company representative will host the farewell dinner for you and we will review about the trek. Overnight in a hotelThe travel time will be of around the same 6-7 hours with many hotels available for brunch and lunch. You can stroll around the streets of Thamel and shop for souvenirs in the evening.
Day 12

Final Departure from Kathmandu
